About the Role (your why) This role is challenging, interesting and integral to the service we provide to our clients.
As an Associate Field Engineer, you will be supporting a variety of different IT environments, often on-site, providing desktop and engineering support and working closely with our clients, so outstanding communication and customer service is an essential focus in this role.
Your professionalism will be a key strength along with your technical ability.
What You'll Do Some of your responsibilities will include: Onsite support across several clients (varying locations) – valid NZ driver's license and your own vehicle are therefore required.
Building and supporting end-user devices (PCs, laptops, thin clients, printers, mobiles, tablets, Point of Sale Equipment).
Diagnosing faults / troubleshooting / problem solving.
Network support.
Windows desktop and server support.
Building productive working relationships across a variety of colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
Continually innovating in your work environment.
There is an on-call component as part of the role and afterhours work will also be required as part of daily job assignments and projects What You'll Bring To be successful, you should have a decent level of IT competency that demonstrates a good range of general IT skills, hopefully along with relevant school or Polytech qualifications to show this.
You will be able to demonstrate excellent problem solving and communication skills and you will need to be a self-starter who is organised and has a keen attention to detail.
