Associate Director-Structural Engineering

The role:
With ambitious growth plans for their New Zealand business, they require an Associate Director to sit alongside the NZ Director. The role involves the day-to-day management of a team of Engineers and Drafters, overseeing their delivery of a range of projects across residential, commercial, education, and aged care sectors. You will be required to get your hands dirty designing yourself, although as the team grows this will diminish.

You:
Will be an experienced Structural Engineer, with a proven track record of designing complex buildings, preferably in Auckland, but at least in New Zealand. It is expected this would mean a minimum of approximately 7 years of experience. You will need to be a strong communicator, and some experience mentoring or managing younger Engineers and Technicians would be viewed favorably. Either business development experience, or an appetite to evolve your ability would be advantageous.
