One of the foremost music-tech companies is looking for an Associate Director of Industry Engagement in Miami to establish, maintain, and build key relationships with artists, managers, performers, and content-owners. In this role, you will develop outreach programs intended to raise the profile and engagement of this company in Miami, with an emphasis on the Latin music genre. You'll get to attend and participate in tons of industry events to connect with artists and labels. You will be THE Miami Industry Engagement rep for this company and help it become a leading voice in the entertainment and tech space. You will pioneer the creation, development, and execution of all programs. Plus, you'll direct, manage, and track daily outreach efforts in order to get artists paid. You'll sit on the Brand Marketing and Industry Engagement team and report to the Director of Industry Engagement.This is a super-cool job for the right industry-focused person… in Miami. You have a bachelor's degree and a minimum of 10 years' experience in a senior role at a recognized and established entertainment entity. Spanish/English bilingual fluency is preferred. You've got major hands-on experience when it comes to the artist development process within both the major label and independent label environments. You're excited about being "the face" of this company in Miami. You're independent, proactive, and 100% game to go to industry events, mingle, and usher this company's mission into the mainstream music-tech community, making it a household name and helping it become the leading voice and advocate for performing artists and content owners. You have an established reputation within the music industry and a significant number of contacts that are "direct" with the artist and/ or principal members of the artists' inner circle (as well as contacts at the senior level for both major and independent labels).
