The person we are looking for would need to easily relate to farmers as well as business professionals and be committed to our ethos of 'making life easier' for our clients.Key TasksDemonstrate a proactive approach to engaging with clients and recognise opportunities to further support them.Deliver quality compliance work, technical support and advisory services.Ensure accurate compliance with reviewing abilities.Provide mentoring to the team and identify any development or training needs.Contribute to clients' future planning through strategic plans, succession, business plans and action lists.Contribute to the firm's culture, strategy, and quality improvements to policies and procedures.About YouThis role would be a great fit if you have the following attributes:Significant management experience in the accountancy profession with a keen desire to progress your career further.CAANZ or CPA membership.Public Practice Certificate.Demonstrate high-level technical skills and knowledge.Committed to developing client relationships and build rapport with the team, clients, and intermediaries.Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.Flexibility to adapt your working day to support colleagues and clients.Shows passion, optimism and commitment.Knowledge of the rural sector is desirable although not essential.Candidates must have permanent work rights to work in NZ.About UsMcKenzie + Co are a well-established chartered accounting firm based in the funky town of Oamaru.
