Associate Clinical Lead Pharmacist, Auckland City Hospital at Te Whatu Ora - Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Auckland Full time, permanent position Based at Auckland City Hospital Competitive remuneration commensurate with your skills and experience ($93,397 - $107,449 pa) This position is a Green List tier 1 occupation - straight to Residence Visa Te whiwhinga mahi| The Opportunity The Department of Pharmacy at Te Toka Tumai, Auckland City Hospital has a fantastic opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced clinical pharmacy leader to provide effective day to day operational management and leadership within the Clinical Pharmacy Service.
The Associate Clinical Lead is an established leadership position designed to support the implementation of the Clinical Pharmacy Strategy whilst ensuring that daily operations run smoothly. The post holder will help foster a culture of quality and clinical governance whilst maintaining a nurturing team environment. The successful candidate will work closely and report to the Clinical Lead Pharmacist, Clinical Pharmacy Services.
The main responsibilities of this important leadership role will be to:
Manage day to day operations and staff within a specified portfolioWork with the Advanced Clinical Pharmacists to ensure a high quality service is delivered to our patientsLead quality improvement and service development initiativesCreate and maintain a cohesive team environmentProvide a high level clinical service to a specified group of patientsFor further details, please refer to the position description here .
The successful applicant should be an experienced clinical pharmacy practitioner, have a proven track record of leading people and change, have the ability to be flexible and work well in a team. You should show drive, enthusiasm and initiative. Your passion for clinical pharmacy should inspire others. Excellent communication (written and verbal) and organisational skills are essential. Post-graduate qualifications in business, clinical education or quality improvement are highly desirable. Applicants must hold a current APC with the Pharmacy Council of NZ or be eligible to obtain one.
