Salary Band: $116,040 to $127,674 + KiwiSaver

About the Role Our service vision is to be a centre of clinical care and customer service excellence. The service has a strong focus on customer service, and its success is reliant on effective communication and teamwork.
Coordinate resources to meet identified needs of patients and staff.Manage staff and patient flows on a shift-by-shift basis, both across the department and between wards.Provide clinical leadership.Establish and maintain a high standard of patient-focused care.Contribute to the department's risk minimisation activities and service activities.Role model and provide staff with clinical educational support.Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities. About You A current NZ APC and relevant postgraduate qualifications.A Senior Registered Nurse with significant experience.You will bring a clear focused vision; strive for contemporary practice, and be 'firm, but fair,' with the ability to inspire staff, being their advocate when needed.Proven success in nursing leadership will be complemented by your knowledge of, and experience in, clinical quality, safety, and best practice.Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth.Experience in projects/initiatives which give effect to Te Tiriti principles and frameworks, and the application of Matauranga Maori and Kaupapa Maori approaches, particularly as they apply in healthcare settings.Working for Health New Zealand

This role is covered by the terms and conditions of the CEA and the salary will be in accordance with the DSN Pay Scale, between $116,040 and $127,674 p.a. pro rata depending on relevant experience.
