Combine that with a pioneering spirit at making a positive impact on brands, society, and each other and you'll soon realize why we're at the forefront of the digital economy.What Your Role and Typical Day Might Look Like:Client engagement and media planning excellence will be a key purpose of this role, being deeply involved and accountable in all aspects of offline/traditional media planning, investment and execution, brand safety/viewability and measurement, whilst also playing an active part with our digital teams to create holistic and robust media plans for our clients.You'll be supporting a few juniors in the team to ensure high-quality plans and deliverables to our clients. Working with your peers and leaders in the team to create synergies between online and offline activities will ensure cohesiveness across the media strategy, meaning you'll be working closely with key digital media suppliers such as Google and Facebook to ensure our key objectives are met.Responsibilities Could Include:Understanding of the industry news in your client portfolio, particularly the trends and business challenges in the market.Being a main or key point of contact for clients, with focus on senior stakeholder relationships.Ensure quality control of engagement with the client and agency partners including managing deadlines, overall accuracy, format of work being presented, and the performance of campaigns at a macro level.Collaborate closely with the Group, Business and Digital Directors and media team members to ensure effective and open working relationships.Manage compliance and rollover of client contracts, including the management of the PRIP.Grow and maintain a profitable portfolio by delivering to financial goals and fostering opportunities to deliver broader services offered by Dentsu and Merkle Aotearoa.Effectively manage team members to ensure progression, support, and nurturing through the agency, including recruitment, performance reviews, and training.Be pro-actively involved in new business pitches and RFP responses as needed.A Bit About You:At least 5 years' experience working within a media and advertising agency or similar environment in a planning and client service lead role.A deep understanding of the traditional media marketplace and a keen interest in developing broader knowledge in digital technology, products, and trends.Thorough understanding of the industries in your client portfolio and particularly the digital norms for the category.Ability to gather insights and develop solutions that simplify the complex with a wide range of audiences.Excellent client service skills – the ability to gain trust and confidence.Confident communicator and able to present work with conviction.Effective time management.Become a Champion for Meaningful Progress:At dentsu Aotearoa, our diverse and inclusive culture enables our employees to bring their whole selves to work and be proud of doing so.
