Greyhound Racing NZ Limited (GRNZ) is the controlling body of the sport in New Zealand, conducting and promoting the sport across the nation. GRNZ's primary responsibility is to ensure the responsible and ethical management and participation in the sport through the effective enforcement of local and national rules and conducting race day operations. There are four tracks (Auckland, Palmerston North, Cambridge & Wanganui) located in the North Island with two further tracks located in the South Island (Christchurch & Invercargill).Key Responsibilities:We are seeking a highly motivated individual to assist with the track maintenance at our Manawatu track. You will assist in the monitoring, management and maintenance of a quality racing surface and associated racing infrastructure at this venue. The role will have a major focus on track surface management and preparation, irrigation system maintenance, infrastructure and machinery maintenance as well as managing an effective and cohesive workforce.
