Assistant To The President

The Feminist Majority and Feminist Majority Foundation seeks a highly motivated and self-starting college student or recent college graduate with knowledge of and passion for feminist issues for the position of Assistant to the President. (Arlington, VA – in-person position)

Responsibilities of the Assistant to the President include:

Research, write, and edit for direct mail and e-mail programs

Communicating with donors on behalf of the president, writing thank you letters, and maintaining donor records

Maintaining grants files

Drafting miscellaneous letters, memos, reports and assisting with other writing projects as needed

Plan and execute special events as needed

Assisting with the president's communications

Other assignments as needed

Successful candidates will possess the following qualifications:

Knowledge of and commitment to feminist issues.

Superior oral and written communication skills; ability to write quickly, clearly, and persuasively.

Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Canva.

The Assistant to the President will be paid $16/hr and work 30-40 hours a week.
