As our Assistant Store Manager, you will help the Store Manager with the day to day running of the Store – selling, helping set objectives for the team, supporting the teams performance and finding ways of working that contribute to achieving Evo Cycles customer satisfaction and growth expectations.You will have accountability of the staff and lead the team when the manager is on their days off. Your responsibilities will include sales, stock (both inwards and outwards), rostering, hours submission, supporting your staff, ordering parts/bikes and general customer service all with the goal to lift customer satisfaction at every touchpoint.As the Assistant Store Manager, you will foster a positive, customer-oriented culture in which staff are supported, empowered and motivated to perform. You'll also be more than happy leading from the front, getting involved at the customer level and contributing with sales. What we're looking for:We'd like to hear from you if you have some of the following:Proven leadership experience in a similar (retail) business with achievement of strong selling, customer experience and business performance objectivesExperience in successfully leading a team, embedding a customer-centric culture of sales, high performance, teamwork and specialist expertise/knowledgeOutstanding communication skills whether engaging within the team or with customersExperience in (or a passion for!) the retail cycling industry would be a huge bonus (where else better to work if you are a cyclist!)This is an exciting role helping to lead a retail/service operation in a growing and fast-paced environment!
