Assistant Store Manager

We seek a customer-focused, positive, and motivated Assistant Store Manager for our CBD store, located in the historic downtown ferry building.
With bags of energy and drive, you will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining exceptional store standards. You will need to be a natural leader who leads by example and has excellent communication skills. You will need to have front-of-house supervisory or management experience, ideally within the food and beverage industry, and enjoy working in a busy environment.
The Assistant Store Manager will play a crucial role in fostering a positive team culture to deliver our brand and customer service experience. In addition to service, this role will also assist the Store Manager and completing duties such as team training, stock management, and ensuring compliance with food safety and store brand standards.
Weekend and evening shifts will be necessary. This role is a multi-site location: Ferry Building, 99 Quay Street, Auckland CBD, 8c Charlotte Street, Eden Terrace, Auckland.
Skills and experience

Team supervisory or management
Food and beverage front of house operations
Experienced in customer service & staff training.
A great communicator, who leads by example.
Experience in stock management/ordering.
Can foster a customer focused, positive, caring and fun based culture.
Passion for people, food and beverage.
Energy, enthusiasm with a can do attitude.
Ability to multitask, and perform under pressure.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
