Assistant Shop Manager - New Plymouth
Fixed-Term until the end of April 2025
Part-Time: Sunday shifts, 6 hours per week
About the role – Korero mo te turanga
In this role you will:
Provide excellent customer service
Promote/drive sales
Utilise your solid cash management and till management experience
Assist with shop presentation/displays
Undertake stock management/preparation and control as instructed
Support volunteers' adherence to our Health, Safety and Wellbeing practices
Who are we looking for? – Ma wai te mahi nei?
To be successful you will have:
Experience in cash handling, cash management, and retail shop operations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Experience in a retail sales environment
Experience working as or with volunteers
Skills in dealing with customers
Enthusiasm and commitment to work as a team member of Red Cross
Self-motivation and a positive and friendly approach
Reliability and work with integrity
