What you'll be doing: Working collaboratively with servers on the floor to assist in carrying out service standardsAnticipate guests' needs & communicate with server on any additional menu ordering needsAssist servers with collecting food orders from the kitchen, present to the guests in a timely, courteous & correct mannerCommunicate with server & kitchen to ensure allergens & dietary restrictions are carried out properlyMaintain knowledge of all food & beverage items in a prompt & professional mannerEnhance revenue flow through suggestive selling techniques and proper follow-upAssist servers with additional beverage taking & beverage/wine service at the tableReview and communicate with host team on reservations and assist with bussing and resetting of tablesAssist servers with table maintenance throughout service for a proper formal dining experienceRestock supplies, dishes & side stand duties ensuring mise en placeEnsure a clean and safe working environment, and actively participate in health and safety initiativesAdhere to all hotel environmental policies and initiativesCarry out any other tasks as assigned Qualifications
Your experience and skillset includes: Minimum 6 months food and beverage experienceSelf-motivated, with the ability to make effective decisionsDemonstrates initiative, and the ability to work with minimal supervisionAbility to maintain high service levels under pressurePhysically fit to lift trays repeatedly, stand and walk for the duration of the shiftYou may be required to work on holidays, weekends, overnights and other non-day shifts.
