All programmes are designed and developed in consultation with the industry to ensure relevance and currency.About the RoleTo augment our manpower resources in the School, we are looking for a suitably qualified candidate to join us.Reporting to the Senior Manager, the incumbent will be responsible for the effective management and utilization of grants. This role requires meticulous attention to compliance, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to streamline processes. The ideal candidate will take ownership of grant-related operations and ensure that all activities align with regulatory standards and organizational objectives.This role is offered on a 3-year renewable contract, subject to a 6-month probation period.Remuneration is based on a 12-month salary structure, with an annual variable bonus that is subject to the incumbent's performance and the University/School's prevailing remuneration policies.The incumbent will be emplaced at an appropriate appointment grade based on his/her individual merits.Key Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure that the utilization of all NUS CET-related grants aligns with approved allocations and adheres to compliance requirements.Manage the application, evaluation, and approval process for different CET-related grants by the CET units.Coordinate with internal teams to ensure grant projects align with grantors' funding criteria and timelines.Provide expert advice on eligibility, application processes, and grant management best practices.Ensure proper allocation and tracking of funds for training programs.Monitor expenditures to ensure programs stay within budget while meeting their learning objectives.Monitor project milestones and budgets to ensure compliance with grantors' guidelines.Identify opportunities to streamline grant-related processes for greater efficiency.Monitor and track the utilization and reimbursements of all sources of grants.Prepare and generate detailed reports on grant activities and ensure accurate record-keeping.Work closely with internal teams, training providers, and grantors to ensure all aspects of the training and development process are compliant and successful.Handle any other CET-related ad hoc projects to support the growth and development of the unit.Requirements:Academic & Professional CertificationA bachelor's degree in Business, Accountancy, or a related field from a reputable university.Proficiency in MS Office and data analytics applications, preferably Excel, PowerBI, Python, etc. is an added advantage.Experience & AttributesAt least 5 to 7 years of experience in grants management, compliance, donors' funds or a related role.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and grant regulations.Familiarity with SSG funding processes is an added advantage.Good verbal and written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent organizational skills and a customer-centric mindset.A proactive team player who is meticulous, resourceful, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.To expedite application processing, a copy of academic certificates and transcripts from GCE O-level onwards should be uploaded via the online application portal.
