Assistant Science Laboratory Technician

Otumoetai College is seeking an assistant Science Laboratory Technician to work in the Science Faculty supporting curriculum delivery and managing the science laboratories. This position is a part-time position of 8 hours per week during term time only (40 weeks) starting 3rd February 2025.
Responsibilities include:
Preparation of equipment and materials for student experiments.
Management and maintenance of equipment, stock materials and storage systems.
Supporting technician to ensure health and safety requirements are met.
Ideally, your skills and experience will include:
A science background or understanding.
Preferably experience in a school laboratory.
Strong organisational skills, show initiative and be able to work independently and as part of a team.
