About the role: Reporting to theFood & Beverage Manager you will be responsible for ensuring that all restaurant operations are run efficiently. Key responsibilities will be:
Assist in managing the daily operations and help deliver the best guest experience Lead and mentor the Restaurant team alongside the Food & Beverage Manager and create help shape a collaborative culture Implement and maintain operational standards, ensuring efficiency delivery of the highest standards of service Assisting of the management of the team when required, rosters, daily briefings, onboarding Liaise with the other departments in the hotel on a daily basis to ensure smooth operations The successful candidate will have: A background in fine dining and wine service is essential Previous senior level Food and Beverage experience in boutique lodges or 5 star properties Strong beverage and wine knowledge Ability to train a team of mixed skill levels Impeccable personal grooming Knowledge and experience with Hospitality Management systems Strong and effective communication skills Ability to work accurately in a fast paced and dynamic environment Reliable, honest and engaged with excellent attention to detail Core to the success of the individual in this role is that their personal values are aligned with those of Rosewood Hotels: Ownership, Passionate, Transparent, Innovative and Collaborative.
