A leading Project Management consultancy with capabilities across a wide range of commercial and infrastructure construction projects is growing and looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the New Plymouth based team.
Clients exist across a variety of public and private sectors, and these projects can vary in size and scope – valuing anywhere between $2-50M+. The Taranaki office is growing its infrastructure portfolio, and we're looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join the team. This is a business that prides itself on flexibility, technical know-how, and personal touch. This role will support a Senior Project Manager with project admin focused tasks, assisting on programme management, commercial negotiations, contract management, design management, procurement, PGC meetings, and potentially some business advisory work. This role suits someone who enjoys being adaptable in their approach and wants good training for their career pathway as a Project Manager.
This role requires:
NZ Commercial or Civil Construction experience – consultancy or main contractor.
Qualified – either a trade qualified supervisor or a degree qualified individual looking to step into a PM role.
Analytical skills – able to understand specifications, drawings, and formulate work programmes.
The ability to drive and achieve deadlines.
