Job DescriptionThe Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy (LKYSPP), National University of Singapore (NUS), invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor appointment in energy policy.
Applicants are expected to have research and teaching expertise in energy policy including renewable energy, nuclear energy, and energy transition with relevance to Asia.Successful talented early career candidates with excellent research track records will be considered for the NUS Presidential Young Professorship (PYP) scheme.
The successful candidate will receive:A tenure-track position with an attractive salary package as an assistant professor at NUSUp to SGD750,000 in a start-up research grant including scholarships to hire PhD studentsAn award of SGD250,000 in white space fundingJob QualificationsThe ideal candidate will have:A completed PhD by 2025 in energy policy;Publications in top journals in the field and a strong pipeline of ground-breaking research/working papers;Demonstrated ability to teach core specialized courses in energy policy; andA willingness and ability to mentor graduate students.ApplicationPlease submit your application package in electronic form (PDF) to the Hiring Committee via CHRS link.The package should include:A cover letterCurriculum VitaeA research statement that outlines your publications at the very top journals, your current research interests, and pipeline of working papers.A teaching statement detailing courses taught, your pedagogical philosophy and practices, along with any available evidence of teaching effectiveness.Names and contact information for three refereesUp to two writing samples.The review of applications will begin in January 2025 and continue until positions are filled.
