Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Assistant principal English, Health and physical education, Learning languages, Mathematics and statistics, Science, Social sciences, Technology, Te reo Maori, The arts 3MU + 2MMA We seek suitably qualified and experienced candidates who will be able to promote and strengthen our strategic goals and vision of 'growing greatness through innovative, constantly evolving personalised learning'.
Our assistant principals work closely with our deputy principals within four whanau or 'schools within a school'.
They must have strong curriculum knowledge and expert practitioners.
Mentoring and team building skills with a focus on collaboration are crucial for achieving positive outcomes for our akonga.
A strong commitment to Treaty obligations and a record of the successful personal demonstration and integration of the Matauranga Maori within a localised curriculum are also required.
While much of the role is whanau based, there are also opportunities to lead or participate in whole school initiatives.
Starting January 2025.
