Our ideal candidate will have a proven track record in successfully leading curriculum initiatives, supporting diverse teams, and driving learning support. In addition to leadership responsibilities, this role includes a teaching component in Y7–8, allowing you to stay directly connected to the classroom and foster student success firsthand. (We use Maths No Problem and a Spiral of Inquiry approach).Provide leadership and support to teams and learners to enhance academic and social outcomes.Contribute to building a positive, inclusive, and forward-thinking school environment.Strengthen puzzles of practice and ensure continuous improvement in teaching and learning.Model best practice as a Y7–8 teacher.Key attributes:A sense of fun, creativity, and a passion for education.Excellent communication and organisational abilities.Strong leadership experience in curriculum and team management.Proven ability to collaborate effectively with staff, students and whanau.A growth mindset, with openness to new ideas and innovative approaches.If you are passionate about making a real difference in education and are ready to contribute to a thriving, bold school community, we encourage you to apply.
