Assistant Manager - The Railway Inn

What will I be doing?
The Railway Inn Cider House and Restaurant is proud to deliver high quality, traditional style food and premium drinks, sourcing locally wherever possible. Our service and offering is attentive and well presented, just as we believe a pub at the heart of its community should be.

As a business we are constantly investing in The Railway Inn to ensure the highest quality experience for our customers. As an Assistant Manager, not only will you have a passion for delivering friendly & fantastic customer service, but you will also be part of The Railway's many exciting events!

As the Assistant Manager, your role will be to help with the day-to-day running of the pub, to be accountable for the efficient running of shifts and responsible for cashing up & closing of the pub, all whilst ensuring the team are fully briefed on the day's bookings and food offerings & delivering fantastic quality customer service.

Expected hours are: a minimum of 35 per week, working across weekdays & weekends.

Experience in the day-to-day running of a pub/bar/similar venue

Passion for delivering exceptional customer service and working with people

Good communication skills

Experience in managing teams in the absence of the General Manager
