With the busy season coming and our plan to open for breakfast we are looking for an Assistant Manager to run the shift and join our dedicated and passionate team.
You will be in charge of the morning shift (starting 5am) and assist in the evening shift when required (until 9pm).
As an Assistant Manager you will be running the shift in charge of ensuring we provide excellent service and food.
You'll be overall in charge responsible for the smooth operation of the shop and preparing our signature dishes.
You will work in a fast-paced environment and be expected to handle multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized kitchen.
Key Responsibilities: Ensuring that the shift run smoothly Prepare the shop before opening Responding to customer inquiries and complaints about food and service Planning the weekly shift schedule Participating in ordering of goods, stocktakes and assisting in putting away new stock Ensuring proper hygiene, safety and security procedures are followed Support management with pricing of food and marketing Plan new menus when needed Operating cash registers, accepting payments and preparing sales invoices Taking customer's food and beverage orders Preparing and serving food and beverages for consumption on the premises and take away Cleaning cafe equipment such as ice makers, deep fryer, etc Clearing away used dishes and cutlery from tables when customers are finished.
Providing backup to other employees Job pre-requisites: Essential Attributes Experience: 3 years retail or restaurant management experience.
Relevant kitchen experience is desired Strong work ethic: Demonstrate a commitment to hard work, reliability, and taking pride in delivering high-quality results.

Days Required: rostered 5 days a week can be split shift and including weeknd Hours per week: 30 hours per week or more when required
