Job DescriptionAre you passionate about empowering & coaching a team to success while ensuring an exceptional guest experience? Do you possess a courageous, uplifting spirit, and a team-oriented attitude? With your upbeat and infectious personality, you will represent the Precinct General Manager or Senior Managers in their absence, ensuring smooth, efficient, and outstanding hotel operations.
Assist and oversee the day-to-day operations of the Front Office teamLead and monitor team members with true leadership ability that motivates and inspires the entire teamEnsure the smooth and efficient running of the Hotel's operations in the absence of the Precinct General Manager/Senior Managers, maintaining a high level of customer service at all timesMake decisions that achieve win-win outcomes for both the Hotel and its guestsFollow Emergency Communication procedures, ensuring that media inquiries are addressed solely by the nominated spokesperson QualificationsYou must have:
Minimum 1 year experience working as an Assistant Manager (Duty Manager) in a medium to large 5 Star hotelA diploma or higher in Hospitality or Tourism ManagementA current and valid Manager's Certificate, and a First Aid CertificateA Full New Zealand Drivers LicenseProven leadership experience in a Front Office operations roleProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office, and OperaThe ambition as a team leader who develops, drives, and coaches the team, bringing a unique aspect of your individuality into everyday tasksFlexibility to work a varied roster, including mornings, nights, weekends, and public holidays Additional InformationThis is a full-time role with guaranteed 40 hours per week, offering a competitive hourly rate range of $31.00 to $34.00, along with Accor's range of global benefits.
