We are seeking an experienced teacher of visual art and design to join our energetic team of teachers here at the College. As assistant to the HoD, the successful candidate will carry out responsibilities as delegated by the HoD Art for the successful running of the department. This role will attract 1MU and 1MMA.

Our department covers all aspects of the Visual Arts curriculum, and our staff like to grow in areas that may not be their first specialization. Our preference is for a Design specialist. Please indicate your areas of strength in visual arts and supporting subjects.
Applicants must be NZ registered and will have familiarity with the NZ Curriculum, NCEA, and the skills to use e-learning and authentic contexts to enhance engagement and learning outcomes. This could be an employment-based trainee teacher possibility. If you are already a registered teacher, please state your NZ Teaching Certification Registration Number and Category in your CV.
The school uses the Adobe CC suite for Visual Arts alongside G-Suite.
The successful candidate will have confidence and capabilities with technology, be an active member, and participate in the leadership of our Professional Development Programme, including Relationship Based Learning (RBL), as well as an expectation of involvement in extracurricular activities on offer at the College.
