Assistant HoD English We are seeking an experienced teacher of English to join our leadership team of HOD English and 2iC English to continue the literacy growth set in our dynamic department. As assistant to the HoD, the successful candidate will carry out responsibilities as delegated by the HoD English for the successful running of the department to ensure successful outcomes for our students and staff. This role may attract up to 2 MU relating to experience.
The successful candidate must have New Zealand teaching experience and experience in accelerating and extending Literacy Skills of students with the possibility of ICT tool use such as Writers Toolbox.
The successful candidate will have confidence and capabilities with technology, be an active participant in our Professional Development Programme including Relationship Based Learning (RBL). There is an expectation of involvement in extracurricular activities on offer at the College.
