James Cook High School is a diverse and vibrant learning community in Manurewa committed to doing the very best for our students. Our current roll of 1,600 students has grown considerably in 2024, with the predicted roll growing significantly into 2025. In consideration of the school's strategic goal of growing leaders, we have a new permanent role at the school. We are looking for a full-time, permanent Assistant Head of Faculty for Science to lead literacy within the Junior Curriculum.
James Cook High School has sustained improvements across a wide range of metrics, including improving learning, engagement, and achievement.
We are seeking an enthusiastic New Zealand registered teacher with experience to continue improvement at our Kura. Candidates should have empathy and understanding towards our students and their culture, as well as the ability to create flexible and ongoing assessment practices for students.
