Assistant Contract Manager/Project Manager - Dunedin - Tangram

Join a small established team in the Construction Industry as an Assistant Project/Contracts Manager. Successful applicants must have:Excellent communication skills (both written and oral)Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise deadlinesExcellent planning experience and familiarity with Gantt chartsExcellent problem-solving and risk mitigation skillsThis role is suited to someone who is confident and familiar with all aspects of project management, must be well organised and efficient with excellent attention to detail. We would consider training a recent graduate with some project management experience and have a preference for someone who has prior trade experience in carpentry.This role will involve coordination with the Operations Manager and Foreman on site, and can be client facing so applicants must be well-presented and professional in all aspects of the role. This role will include:Liaison with clients/foreman and our Operations ManagerContract administrationProcurement of Sub-contractorsCost controls, budget monitoring and reportingEnsuring variations are monitored and processed correctlySite visits to ensure projects are running efficiently and to scheduleChecking and processing of payment claimsYou will need to be a New Zealand Citizen or have a valid New Zealand Visa, hold a current driver's licence and have experience with project/contracts management.
