Assistant Compliance Manager - Compliance and Conduct, Personal Banking Risk As an Assistant Compliance Manager in the Compliance and Conduct team, you will support the Personal Banking Division to comply with law, regulation, and internal policy relating to our everyday banking, KiwiSaver, and wealth products - including advising on new initiatives and ongoing BAU compliance activity.
You will work closely alongside other teams within the broader Personal Banking Risk team, including those who support the division from a CCCFA and AML compliance perspective, as well as on operational risk matters.
Working collaboratively within and across all lines of accountability, you will support the business to achieve their objectives in a better, sooner, and safer way.

| What do I need to be successful? Understanding of banking and/or managed funds products and the regulations that apply to them.Ability to successfully drive change and process improvement.Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to explain complex technical information to non-subject matter experts, including verbal and written communication skills with the ability to relate to and influence senior management.Strong stakeholder engagement and management.Knowledge of legislation applicable to Personal Banking.Experience in process design and Compliance/Operational Risk Frameworks.Attention to detail and managerial courage.3+ years banking, compliance, or legal experience.Tertiary qualification in a Legal or Governance discipline is desirable.Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASB In return, you will work for an organisation that places huge importance and focus on its people, where the sky is the limit for development and career opportunities.
