You may be a Senior Nurse in Aged Care with the right attitude wanting to step up into management.
The Fixed Term role is to cover parental leave for 9 months- dates are mid-January to Mid-October 2025Some of the great things you will be doing: Using your clinical skills to assess and identify the needs of our residents to be able to formulate/review individual care plans.Ensure compassionate and excellent quality of care is provided to all residents.Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families/ whanau.Lead and manage a team of registered nurses, ensuring day to day high levels of clinical delivery.
Ensuring clinical compliance meets auditing requirements.Supporting, identifying, and upskilling the needs and requirements of the registered nurses and care workers, as well as providing appropriate direction and delegation.Working and liaising closely with the Manager to undertake risk management, quality projects and improvements.Support the 'Clinical On-Call' roster.About youYou will have Aged Care experience as a Sr.
Registered Nurse or advanced clinical practiceCurrent Annual Practicing certificate and First Aid Certificate.Current InterRai certification.Up to date knowledge on wound care.Demonstrates excellent leadership and communication skills.You will also have a helpful, team player attitude and a caring, respectful manner which is important in our aged care environment.Provide Nursing Practice in a culturally safe manner and supports the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.Upholds the Rights of the Health and Disability Code.
