Assistant Branch Manager

Our client is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of low maintenance building products with some of the best-known manufacturing and service names in the sector. They are one of the UK's largest manufacturers and suppliers of windows, doors, and fascia systems. The principal activities of their Group are the extrusion of PVC-U and roofline products as well as the manufacture of windows, doors, conservatories, and sealed units.They are part of a 15 Branch nationwide distribution network and are currently seeking to recruit an exceptional Assistant Branch Manager for their branch in Christchurch.Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will need to demonstrate a strong sales history in the PVC building products or general building/construction sectors. The ability to build strong customer relationships is a critical element of this position.Responsibilities include:Quoting and selling of the PVCu product range to customersServing and managing customer enquiriesReporting information on costs, sales, and general market and customer feedbackManaging daily delivery and dispatch process and ensuring correct routingEnsuring Invoices, Sales Orders, and Credit notes are entered on to the system within a set time frameWarehouse and driving dutiesSkills/Attributes:Outstanding sales, communication, and organisation skillsA firm understanding of what makes for a superior customer experienceKnowledge and experience within the PVCu Window, Cellular and Composite Door, or wider construction industries would be an advantageSelf-motivated, driven, and enthusiasticBroad-based computer skillsPrevious sales experience in a branch environmentA clean driving licenceMore importantly, we are looking for people that possess a positive outlook, a can-do attitude, and strong sales leadership.The role is full time with a competitive package for the right person, offering the freedom and opportunity to further build and grow the business.
