Assistant Branch Manager

Our client is one of the leading manufacturers and suppliers of low maintenance building products with some of the best-known manufacturing and service names in the sector. They are one of the UK's largest manufacturers and suppliers of windows, doors, and fascia systems. The principal activities of their Group are the extrusion of PVC-U and roofline products as well as the manufacture of windows, doors, conservatories, and sealed units.

They are part of a 15 Branch nationwide distribution network and are currently seeking to recruit an exceptional Assistant Branch Manager for their branch in Christchurch.

Reporting directly to the Branch Manager, you will need to demonstrate a strong sales history in the PVC building products or general building/construction sectors. The ability to build strong customer relationships is a critical element of this position.

Responsibilities include: Quoting and selling of the PVCu product range to customers
Serving and managing customer enquiries
Reporting information on costs, sales, and general market and customer feedback
Managing daily delivery and dispatch process and ensuring correct routing
Ensuring Invoices, Sales Orders, and Credit notes are entered on to the system within a set time frame
Warehouse and driving duties

Skills/Attributes: Outstanding sales, communication, and organisation skills
A firm understanding of what makes for a superior customer experience
Knowledge and experience within the PVCu Window, Cellular and Composite Door, or wider construction industries would be an advantage
Self-motivated, driven, and enthusiastic
Broad-based computer skills
Previous sales experience in a branch environment
A clean driving licence
