We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Bank Manager to support our Hutt branches! The Assistant Bank Manager is the Bank Managers' right hand with a strong focus on our customers and people. As the Assistant Bank Manager (ABM), you will be responsible for improving branch efficiencies and ensuring the branch staff understand and adhere to banking policies and processes. You will also train, develop and motivate your team to achieve greatness by impressing our valuable customers with a memorable customer experience every time.

Proven experience in a leadership or mentoring capacity
Previous experience in a banking environment, with lending experience is essential
The ability to drive a high-performing culture to achieve great business and customer outcomes
Previous experience in coaching, training, and motivating others to deliver a best customer experience on both advice and outcomes
Knowledge of operational day to day running of a branch
Strong understanding of consumer credit and lending principles
Ability to build strong rapport and long-lasting relationships
A genuine desire to help individuals achieve their goals.
