Responsibilities include teaching in the pre-doctoral program and post-doctoral programs, as well as independent research and service to the University. Working in collaboration with other faculty, both in research and in teaching, is encouraged.Minimum QualificationsA D.M.D. or D.D.S degree, specialty training in Periodontics and American Board of Periodontology eligibility or certification are required.Previous teaching experience and/or a record of research accomplishment through publication and external funding are desirable.Candidates holding an M.S. degree are preferred.Applicants must be licensed to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois, or be able to meet the requirements for Illinois licensure.Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
