Your roleProcessing daily bank Recs for NZ and AU Entities, Daily Cash payments, responsible for cash flow reporting, Processing CMS DDs and DC in banking system, assisting GL Recs, updating GL accounts in blackline monthly, checking Merchant Setups in CMS, validating bank account details with merchants, assisting AP on checking credit card Transactions, and matching receipts with transactions, assisting Annual Audit, providing support documentations, assisting month End processing, including group/international monthly and quarterly tasks, and other adhoc queries from stakeholders.

About The Role We are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join our Finance Team in Ellerslie. Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will assist in the planning of accurate and timely monthly and annual reporting. You will be exposed to a diverse range of tasks that include the processing of daily bank transactions, accounts payable and accounts receivable processing, general ledger reconciliations, and month end and year-end financial close processes. The Assistant Accountant will also be responsible for processing Mobil transaction and providing Mobil reporting as required.
About You The role will suit someone with a high degree of self-sufficiency, organisational skills, pro-activity and an ability to enjoy a quick-paced and busy environment. The successful candidate will be highly motivated, flexible and welcomes responsibility, takes initiative and pays huge attention to details. It's important that you are dynamic, willing to get to know the whole business and have a genuine positive personality.
