Assistant Accountant

An exciting opportunity has arisen at High Performance Sport New Zealand (HPSNZ) for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join the Finance team based at the National Training Centre in Auckland.

Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, the purpose of the Assistant Account role it to provide high quality, accurate, timely and relevant finance support.
The successful individual will have:
2 years' experience in an Assistant Accountant position, working in a high volume and complex environment.Experience working with ERP systems.Intermediate Microsoft Office skills (especially MS Excel)Excellent organisation skills, attention to detail and ability to work well under pressure.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience in developing strong relationships within an organisation.Holds a relevant tertiary qualification recognised by CAANZ or equivalent.This is a fast-paced and energetic environment that breeds a culture of excellence. You will be an integral part of a dedicated Business Operations team supporting high performance sport in New Zealand and its elite athletes and key stakeholders.
