We are seeking an experienced Asset Manager to help convert the institution's strategic direction, long-term capital plant & operational requirement into strategic asset management objectives and strategies. You will take the lead in the planning, delivery & maintenance of the University's asset management and maintenance plans for its built asset portfolio including our award-winning building The Pa.

Known internally as the Facilities Asset Manager you will be an integral member of the Facilities Operations team who are responsible for maintaining safe and secure physical spaces that enable learning and teaching, research and innovation, and support the student experience.

Salary will be provided based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position. This is a full-time role (37.5 hours a week) based on our Hillcrest Campus.

Ko wai koe? - Who are you?

You will have proven experience in managing asset management plans and improvement plans. You will also have a demonstrated ability to build rapport, develop and maintain positive and productive relationships, both with internal and external stakeholders. A tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline and/or a significant level of relevant professional work experience is essential.

You will demonstrate sound leadership abilities and experience in budget management within a construction or facilities environment along with strong financial reporting and maintenance planning expertise. You will have a natural ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines and constantly re-prioritise goals and workload. You are adaptable and flexible with a commitment to customer service and quality.
