Asset Manager

We are seeking a Road Network Asset Manager to join our team focusing on our Manawatu NOC Road Maintenance contract.
Based in Palmerston North, you will support the Manawatu-Whanganui NOC delivery team by overseeing the administration of a highway network that spans district councils and diverse environments.
About the role In this role, you will report to the Contract Manager and be responsible for managing the state highway roading assets, liaising with operations, network, and management teams to deliver service level outcomes.
Develop monthly, seasonal, and annual major maintenance programmes Develop annual renewal programmes (drainage, pavement, and surfacing) Manage day-to-day project delivery for allocated programmes What you'll bring to the role Qualification in Engineering or similar Previous experience in road maintenance/project management RAMM system experience A practical-minded hands-on approach Excellent communication and people skills A passion for technology with an innovation focus Commercially focused balanced by best for asset approach Ability to travel throughout New Zealand Ideally, you will have experience in successfully delivering modern forms of contract in a maintenance and/or asset management environment.
