We are seeking an experienced and driven Asset Management Engineer to drive asset management excellence and best practice outcomes. The position is ideally based in Veolia's NZ Corporate Office in Ellerslie, Auckland, however can be based at other Veolia NZ locations for the right candidate. What you'll be responsible for Asset Champion responsible for driving a culture of asset management excellence throughout Veolia's New Zealand business. Leading maintenance reviews underpinned by optimization of preventative and predictive maintenance programs and critical spares holdings to ensure best practice asset maintenance, increased reliability, and to minimize reactive breakdowns. Provision of asset management related training and support. Undertaking of asset condition assessments and preparing asset investment programs to achieve optimal risk / investment outcomes for our clients and their communities. Preparation of Asset Management Plans aligned to that of the International Infrastructure Management Manual (IIMM). Working closely with Veolia operations to ensure local asset management excellence and the retention of ISO55001 certifications for Veolia's New Zealand operations. What you'll need to be successful - Demonstrable asset management experience in areas such as asset planning and scheduling, reliability engineering and reliability centered maintenance, asset criticality analysis, asset inventory management, asset monitoring and assessment, and capital renewals planning. - Experience with CMMS and maintenance data capture systems. - Self-motivated team player with attention to detail and strong quality focus. - Strong communication skills, literacy, report writing, numeracy, and computing skills. - Strong commitment to customer service and customer outcomes.
