Te kowhiringa | The Opportunity Join the Downer Transport & Infrastructure team in this collaborative position where you'll be a leader within the CCA (Collaborative Corridor Agreement), leading delivery of routine maintenance programmes across Downer and Hamilton City Council. Lead maintenance teams and manage processes including safety, traffic, quality, environment, financial and resource management, ensuring delivery of maintenance and emergency response. Be responsible for maintaining high levels of service, cost efficiencies and managing resources. You will prioritise enhancing the CCA reputation, and that of Hamilton City Council and Downer. Your key responsibilities will include: Developing and delivering the maintenance activity programme and managing the Target Cost Estimate (TCE). Assist the Asset & Planning team with development of Maintenance Intervention Strategies and developing Maintenance Programmes. Organisation of efficient work programmes, maintaining customer satisfaction, and ensuring both customer and worksite safety. Working with the Asset & Planning team to promote Best for Asset approach, and developing forward works and maintenance activity programmes. Role modeling the core values of the CCA and maintaining high standards of professional behaviour, actively looking for continuous improvement and creating a Centre of excellence within the CCA. This is a Full-Time, Permanent position based from our Te Rapa, Hamilton depot. Some on-call flexibility to respond to emergency incidents is required. Nga pukenga matua | Important Skills We are ideally seeking someone with experience working within the network maintenance & civil construction industry, and/or within urban maintenance. With an Engineering qualification or significant on-the-job technical and supervisory experience, you will have the tools to step up and own the role. We would value someone with: Experience working in a culture that upholds Zero harm. High level of RAMM Contractor competency. Excellent organisational skills and constant improvement thinking. The ability to build relationships through collaboration, trust and integrity. The ability to communicate with and influence those at all levels, including staff and key stakeholders.
