Downer have been appointed the Maintenance Contractor for the CRLL City Rail Link C3 project for a period of up to 30 years, the Asset Management and Maintenance Services contract (AMAS). This includes an initial role during the five-year construction period to provide maintenance input and drive Whole of Life (WoL) considerations on a best for project basis.
We are looking for an Asset Engineer to ensure that assets and asset data being delivered by the City Rail Link project are fit for purpose and meets the maintenance requirements set out in the AMAS contract during the mobilisation phase and post the mobilisation phase, the role has the potential to career transition into one of the 4 Station Manager roles.
Some of the duties include but are not limited to;
On-site observation of construction relating to this discipline and general maintenance requirements.Write assets maintenance procedures for station building services (hydraulic, mechanical, fire protection and electrical systems).Organise the preventive maintenance plan and load it into the maintenance management system.Coordinate the maintenance activities and dispatch work orders if required.Review of operations and maintenance manuals delivered by the Alliance.Develop strong relationship with Auckland Transport, Kiwirail and the rail operator and stake holders.Provide leadership and direction to the AMAS operations team members and subcontractors.Maintain a detailed knowledge of the AMAS Contract, Asset Management Principals, and Industry Best Practice of Facilities Maintenance.Ensure the timely management of site compliance activities, including BWOF and HSNO requirements.Deliver all services and people leadership in accordance with our Downer Values and Zero harm above all else.Tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)At least 5+ years' experience in similar role (Asset Management and Facilities Maintenance) and understanding of building services engineering and maintenance.Effective communication skills and ability to communicate complex technical issues in a clear and rigorous manner to the maximize impact.Proven ability to manage multifaceted supplier/service provider relationships and develop effective working relationships.Current working knowledge or the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015.Must hold a current full driver's licenseKo te take ka parekareka e koe ki te mahi ki konei | Why you will enjoy working here Downer is committed to delivering excellence by ensuring our people have the environment and the means to be successful.
