In this role, you will support the Fixed Assets Team in delivering high-quality finance services. You will ensure the Fixed Assets and Leases transactions are supported and updated in a timely manner, facilitating the processing of the fixed asset information requests to ensure consistent processing and promoting best practice accounting applications across the group.
This is a fixed-term role from November 2024 until July 2025 based in our Christchurch Office in Burnside.
Responsibilities: Record and control financial activities related to fixed assets. Collect and compile all relevant documents required for asset setup. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the information in JDE. Monitor and respond to internal queries and shared inbox accurately and in a timely manner. We're looking for someone with: Accounting knowledge gained through a formal qualification or experience. Solid Excel skills. A minimum of 1 year's commercial experience. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Strong organisation and time management skills. Developed communication and relationship management abilities. JD Edwards (or other large ERP) knowledge will be a bonus.
