The opportunity We are looking for a part-time Asset Accountant to support the full-time Asset Accountant in managing CIAL's asset portfolio.
You will be responsible for capital project management, asset accounting (including depreciation and reconciliations), and providing support for regulatory reporting and taxation.
This role requires collaboration with internal project managers and leadership teams, ensuring smooth asset accounting processes and adherence to policies and standards.
About you: You will be successful in this role because you have: a Tertiary qualification in finance or accounting (NZICA qualification desirable) 3-5 years of relevant experience in a chartered accounting firm or commercial company A strong understanding of asset management and capital project accounting Experience with TechnologyOne or similar financial/ ERP systems Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills A pragmatic approach to ensuring efficient and effective delivery You are also energised by the opportunity to live our values every day: Be Forward thinking, Make a Difference, Look after each other and Stronger Together.
