Clever Core New Zealand is a purpose-designed offsite manufacturing facility based in Wiri. We are building a new generation of homes for New Zealand and want to be the number one supplier of panelized homes designed specifically for manufacture.
WHAT WE DO We manufacture the walls and floors to go into residential homes to save time on site and create a safer and better-quality product. Our clients come to us for homes that can be built faster, more accurately and with less waste.
THE JOB As an Assembly Technician at Clever Core, you will be primarily based out at one of our sites, responsible for:
Ensuring the safe execution of crane lifts and material placements through management and communication with the crane driver and all on site.Assembling products in line with the planned schedule, specific quality guidelines and company Health and Safety policy and procedures.Safely achieving the desired quality and quantity of the manufactured product across the assembly shift.Actively participating in continuous improvement activities across the site focused on Health and Safety and productivity improvement.Working as a team.Working safely at all times.Assisting in the manufacturing plant when required.ABOUT YOU To be successful in this position you will need:
2-3 years' experience in Rigging and Slinging experience in a manufacturing or construction environment.Ability to achieve reporting deadlines.Proven flexibility.Physically active.Be able to follow written and verbal instructions.Ability to deal positively with change.Willingness to learn and develop.You will also need to:
