Assembly Technician (Full term & Fixed Term) NewWe are currently looking for a passionate Assembly Technician to join our friendly team at our head office based in Manukau!Tasks & Responsibilities:Main responsibility in assembling laptops/desktops.Carry out assembly/building of new PCs, desktops, and laptops.Ensuring tasks are completed on time, to quality and procedural standards by meeting customers' expectations.Carry out upgrading/renewal and maintenance of ex-lease PCs, laptops, phones, tablets, cameras, and gaming products.Liaise with Returns & Warranty Department regarding warranty process in relation to all new or upgraded PCs and other technology products.Test any work conducted on all new or upgraded PCs/machines.Label, package, and arrange shipments: re-tape the box, label with correct codes, arrange pallets for shipment, and ensure tight wrapping for better stability of pallets.Submit a daily task/activity list to the Assembly Team Leader and update the job's status in the system upon job completion.Any other supporting projects if required.Requirements:The successful candidate must have the following attributes:Diploma level qualification in IT/Electronics (Preferred)Excellent computer knowledge on systems and networking including Microsoft Office.IT-related products and applications knowledge.Excellent communication skills.Excellent team player.Why this opportunity?Health care insurance available.On-site car parking.Staff discounts.We thank all applicants.
