You will be at the forefront of ensuring our asphalt materials meet the highest standards. On-site, you will perform critical testing, provide quality assurance, and collaborate with teams to deliver projects that exceed expectations.Flexibility is a must as you will be required to work up to 12 hours per day when we are busy and 8 hours (min.) daily and will be required to work periods of night shift for approx. 6 months during the busy season. Weekly hours between 40 hours (min) Monday to Friday and 70 hours (max).Responsibilities:Conduct sampling and testing of asphalt materials to ensure compliance.Record, analyse, and report testing results, identifying and resolving quality issues as needed.Collaborate with production crews, engineers, and project managers to maintain high quality outcomes.To be successful in this role, you will have:Experience in asphalt quality control or a similar role.A strong understanding of testing methods and NZ infrastructure standards NZTA M10.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.We're looking for passionate people with a positive approach and a can-do attitude.
