Join our supply chain operations as our Plant Operator based at our Asphalt Plant in Drury and sometimes Mount Wellington, Auckland.
You will be a key member in running the day to day operation of the production plant including scheduling, purchasing while meeting the needs of customers ensuring asphalt is delivered on time and within specifications.
Whilst experience is ideal, full training is provided for this position.
In addition to the above you will: Ensure safe and proficient operating of plant & machinery Complete inspections and checks on the Asphalt Plant Complete and document checks on the plant and machinery, quality of finished product and daily production records.
Housekeeping of the plant environment Perform routine walks to check the stockpiles are sufficiently stocked General plant operation and basic troubleshooting Good Work equals Good Benefits: Medical insurance for you and your whanau.

We're looking for someone with: Hold a class 1 full drivers' licence is ideal Hold a WTR Endorsement is ideal but not a deal breaker Experience or exposure to civil Asphalt/Bitumen operations is favourable Good communication and interpersonal skills as you deal with our internal customers Good computer skills Creating, Connecting and caring for the community: Our people regularly donate their time to local causes and initiatives, while at a regional and national level we provide financial support, skills and resources to a wide range of organisations that are strengthening our communities.
