About the Role Our askHR team provides an advisory and support service to the organisation on all HR matters including payroll, leave management and employee benefits. The team also plays a key part in providing better candidate experience by preparing all offer documentation and following through with successful candidates to ensure effective onboarding into the organisation.
The successful candidate will work closely and collaboratively with the internal Recruitment and Payroll Teams as well as the wider HR function to provide a seamless delivery of HR services for the organisation. We are on a path of continuous learning and improvements. We are seeking someone who can recommend and action improvements for internal systems and information to make it easier for managers and employees to engage with HR requests.
Skills and Experience Tertiary qualification in HR or business (preferred) Intermediate knowledge and skills in using Microsoft, online tools and HRIS applications Proactive problem solver with strong organisational skills and attention to detail Demonstrated experience in adapting to timebound demands & urgent requirements and the ability to self-manage priorities Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels You Will Bring A commitment to being a good Te Tiriti partner in all your actions; this includes an understanding of the significance of and obligations under Te Tiriti o Waitangi, and the ability to apply Te Tiriti principles in a meaningful way in this role Competency with te ao Maori, tikanga, and te reo Maori or a commitment to starting your journey and taking ownership of your learning and growth Working for Health New Zealand Health New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is 'the weaving of wellness'.
