Committed to a lifecycle approach to asset management, we work to build, maintain and renew our community buildings and public spaces including parks, walkways, libraries, swimming pools and leisure centres. We have an exciting opportunity for someone looking to become trained and qualified in working in the Asbestos field and assisting our team across Asbestos Projects. You'd be undertaking general asbestos management functions as well as sampling and air monitoring, asbestos surveys and responding to asbestos emergency situations – once trained and qualified. He korero mou: About you Key to what we're looking for is good interpersonal and relationship skills – able to communicate well with a wide range of people, and a willing and keen attitude to learn within the asbestos space. We'll be looking to see you've familiarised yourself with WorkSafe Management and Removal of Asbestos Accepted Code of Practice (ACoP), and within a year of commencing you'll successfully complete BOHS IP 402.
