About the Role Reporting to the Artificial Breeding (AB) Despatch Lead, our AB Despatch Technicians work in our Packing Room, packing our liquid nitrogen banks and frozen bovine semen to be stored and despatched to the field for insemination. No previous experience is required, as full on-the-job training will be provided. Your role will be responsible for: Storing banks and bovine semen products safely, efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with LIC's procedures/policies. Packing and despatching customer orders. Day-to-day support for the AB Despatch Lead, AB Warehousing, and Despatch Operations. Administrative duties using LIC systems and software. Ensuring LIC's quarantine and Health & Safety policies/procedures are understood and complied with. You'll be joining our Christchurch team on a fixed-term basis to provide support during our peak season, until approximately November 2024. From September to November, this role will require you to work on a rostered schedule. About You We are seeking someone with the below skills and characteristics: Strong team player.
