Our school is seeking an inspiring and collaborative teacher of visual art. This position is a full-time, permanent position starting term 1, 2025.
We require a teacher to assist in our art programme specialising in visual art with possible teaching opportunities in both practical and digital subjects (state supporting subjects). The successful applicant needs to be a team player, familiar with the relevant curriculum and NCEA assessment requirements, and able to inspire and engage young women in this area. We have a well-led and resourced, collaborative art learning area. Applicants should be prepared to play an active role in the co-curricular and professional life of the school.
Palmerston North Girls' High School is the only state girls' secondary school in the Manawatu. We have outstanding NCEA results and work within a Culturally Responsive and Relational Framework.
